Event Details

We are delighted to welcome Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) Vice President, Daniel Russel, from our New York headquarters. Since his visit to last year, the world as we know it is at a crossroads. Last year, we discussed how we would re-emerge globally from the COVID-19 pandemic and firsthand views of the Biden administration's steps for Asia. What we see now are the implications of the gaps in the pandemic recovery and a war in Europe which brings on further thoughts on security concerns.

Join us for a roundtable discussion with Mr. Russel and learn his assessment of the region and beyond, on President Biden's first in-person visit to Japan, and the Quad's response to the increasingly unpredictable Indo-Pacific region. No stranger to Japan, Mr. Russel will share his insights.
